I was born on a pirate ship!


I'm obsessed with drawing shitty boats right now. I don't really know why, though. A few of these drawings might end up in the "Lowbrow On The High Seas " 4th annual pirate show in Vancouver. You'll be there if you're cool. Although, I don't know the actual date time or venue yet, so keep checking in here for more info.

This is why I love Aya's work so much....




and hate her for her amazing talent. We decided we would do our versions of each others characters. Below is one of my characters called The Vine King. Not a great drawing, but passable I suppose.

Modern Animalia


Here are the other 4 pieces I did for the Modern Animalia show. The show turned out to be awesome but unfortunately, Aya Kakedas work had trouble getting here, so it never made the show! I'm pretty curious to see what she did.

So, when we first opened HQ I was trying to produce a new drawing or painting each day to post up. But that didn't last too long, as I got pretty busy, pretty fast. So, here is a collection of some of the drawings I did at that time. They kinda suck.... sorry.
